pls tell me about interest rate on due amount of service tax. which is not deposited in service tax A/c.

on day basis or month basis

its 13% pa earlier it was 15%

Interest rate is 13% p.a. from 10.09.2004. W.e.f. 16.07.2001 interest is to be calculated on per annum basis.

Current interest rate is 13% Per annum w.e.f 10.09.2004. Earlier it was 15% Interest is payable on day basis

Rate of Interest upto 15/7/2001 - 18%. Rate of Interest from 16/7/2001 to 15/8/2002 - 24% Rate of Interest from 16/8/2002 to 9/9/2004 - 15% Rate of Interest from 10/9/2004 to till date - 13%

the rate of interest is 13%p.a i.e., the delay is say for a period of 55 days then int should be calculated as below amount of st payble*13%*55/365 regards sanguramakrishna @ yahoo.co.in

We are made rent in Advance.but they are cllected service tax is 12%. I want to know in Advance case 10% or12 %.Our total rent per month RS 10393(including St) Kindly ask can i Cut TDS on Rent
