HI THERE

I am from Kolkata and i have given consultancy services to a construction company in New Delhi for a project in Jammu & Kashmir. Do i have to pay the Service Tax on the consultancy.

Dear Member,

Yes, Service Tax is leviable to you. Because services are provided in India.
