I need correct information regarding the new rumour or the notification by the govt. on service tax that now landlords need not collect the ST and pay the same to respectable authorities. The tenants should pay themselves the ST to the concerned authorities. Please anyone give the correct information as i heard from one of my friend as there is notification by the central govt.
Well that is only when you've give a immovable property on rent to the Government or local authority.
