My Company is registered with Dept. as service provider. Now that scope of taxability of services been widened, we need to pay service tax on reverse charge method also under notification 30/2012 as service receiver.
My question is do we need to amend our existing RC so as to include our name as service receiver too.

I was discussing this very point with concerned Asst Commissioner of our circle, as per his views there is no requirement for additional registrations of services.
The payment of service tax is also to be done with new code which is a unified code for all services.
No required. Existing registration is sufficient.
