self preparation

hi friends advice needed. I am started my ipcc group1 preparation by self because there is no coaching facility for this course near by me and going out is not getting possible. So, plz guide me what sort of steps should i take for self preparation. How many hrs. Study is required per day and which external book should i refer for group1. How is cci online coaching. Should i take it. Will it be beneficial. I have no idea about the quality of online coaching plz guide me. Ihave 256kbps unlimited bradband. Will it be enough or have to upgrade to 512kbps.
