director is diqualified in defaulting company .And he is also disqualified to be appointed as director in any other company for 5 years.
my query is that if he was director in two companies so can he continue as director in other company other than defaulting company or he is disqualified from both companies?

From all of the company... Once disqualification occurred office vacate under section 167
as per section 164(2) of companies act.2013 no person shall be appointed or re-appointed as director in the same company or other company for a period of five years from the date on which company fails to do. so as per your quirey he was director in two companies so he can continue as director in both companies but shall not be appointed a director in any other company for five years and he can not be re-appointed in the defaulting company for five years
