The listed Company proposes to amend the object clause of the company by inserting the other object in the main object clause of the Memorandum of Association under section 149 (2A) of the Companies Act, 1956.
For this please clarify whether resolution by Postal Ballot is required

Yes, in case of listed company any changes in object clause of Memorandum of Association requires postal ballot route. Please read Rule 4 of Postal Ballot Rule, 2001.
