If both husband and wife have salary income and jointly own two house properties in the same location, can each one of them claim one property each as self occupied under income tax. One is currently self occupied and the other is lying vacant. thanks for your views
IMHO yes you can, both can claim one each, experts please comment.
Thanks, Do we need to have property in single name or property in joint names will also qualify for benefits under the "self occupied category"
