hey friends, I write letter to pr ccit for permission of filling my return under sec 119(2)(b), after two months I received letter from my ito
in that letter they said hearing is there u come with evidence and documents
actually I filled my return in ay 15-16 but forgot to e verify
I'm govt contractor, I filed presumptive income
which documents are required to take on hearing.

sir, only TDs is there, but form 16 A was missing, is there any problem

insteas of form 16, 26AS is sufficient
it is better to submit written submission as to why you couldn't file ROI. in yr case why it was not e verified

k, 26as and income tax computation and invalid tax return and request letter is enough sir.

if these documents are not sufficient, request for further time to submit requisite documents/explanation asked by the dept in hearing. as dept has not asked for specific documents in notice, i think you should get sufficient time to submit documents asked for in hearing. here more important is that you should be able to explain why delay should be condoned. have you filed roi of eariler year A.Y. correctly?
