Section 87A of Income-tax Act, provide for a rebate of an amount lower of:
1. Rs. 5000
2. Equal to hundred per cent of such income-tax
from the amount of income-tax to an individual resident and ordinary resident (ROR) in India
whose total income does not exceed Rs.5,00,000.
