Please tell me that Notice u/s 142(1) of income tax act can be issued 2 times. earlier it was issued on 07.01.2010 for the A.Y. 2008-09, Now on dated 15.10.2013 it has again received by the assesse. earlier assesse has produced books of accounts very well. Assesement U/s 143(3) got Compelete earlier.can it be issue again for producing books of accounts?

After completion of Assessment u/s 143(3), no notice can issued u/s 142(1)...so if u have received such notice then it is legally not valid , so just brought the fact to the notice to AO...
