It should be modified and made more tax-payer friendly..........
I shall say scrutiny of cases should be a bit more strict as rarely of people follows it.....coz very few people pay taxes properly
YES, FOR THAT TAXPAYER WHO REALY PAY TAX

NO, FOR THAT WHO AVOID TO PAY TAX OR THE PERSON WHO MAKE MISSTATMENT AND IT AFFECTS OUR INDIAN ECONOMY

other wise it will be worsely affected
But I strongly agry that it should be Modified
As current system only keeps full the pocket of currupted officers of IT and not the Govt...
These days tax payments is low in order to get more revenue they are making even raids to offices to harrase them
One big question is when will recession stop
A proper system should be devised to take Scrutiny Cases...
ONE THING I KNOWS THAT THE SCRUTINY IS ONE OF THE SOURCE OF INCOME TO THE IT OFFICERS, IF U DON'T PAY THE BRIBE THEY WILL NOT LEAVE U UNTILL U HARESS. (FOR THE GENUINE TAXPAYER)
