ACCA is indeed a good certification globally. But, in Indian context, it is still struggling to be relevant primarily because of already established professional certifications like CA and CMA. ACCA provides good exposure in globally relevant areas like IFRS and US GAAP. But again, in India ACCA doesn't have strong base compared to its local counter parts. A local degree course such as MBA along with ACCA can be a good combination in India.

thank u for ur reply
but is there any benefit if i go for ACCA after CA
because i will have a qualification of CA with ACCA
or would u like to suggest any other better combination with CA

Benefits of ACCA are in in context with the exemptions they provide to a qualified CA, as far as I know they provide exemptions at all papers in series of Intermediate level and two papers in Professional level. But you can’t quantify the pay scale after you opt for ACCA thus a value addition from ACCA can’t be quantified on an average basis, atleast you will have got a job around 6 to 7 lakhs pa. However, that you can also earn if you get your CA degree in first attempt by getting a good % also and get selected in campus placements.

What I suggest is if you are into financial reporting then please go for it without any expectations, other better options as per my perspective shall be CFA, SAP certification, Advanced Excel preparation.

ACCA is more beneficial if you want to become an accountant or have a career abroad. What I suggest you is that now that CA degree will be considered equal to a PG degree. Why not just pursue CA and try and grow in your career through that

ACCA is gaining traction in India, especially with MNCs, Big 4 firms, and companies adopting IFRS standards. Cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore are hotspots for ACCA professionals. Pursuing the ACCA course in India after your CA Final can be a strategic move, especially if you're aiming for international opportunities or roles in multinational corporations. ACCA is globally recognized and complements the CA qualification by providing a broader perspective on international accounting standards and practices. Many Indian CAs find that adding ACCA to their credentials enhances their career prospects abroad and in global firms operating in India.
