How to study paper 5, startegic cost mgt &performance evaluation in new syllabus?
In study materials its contains more theory than practical problem.But in exam its asking more practical problems instead of theories.

This paper used to be a full practical paper. But now the question paper contains a compulsory case study question and other concept related questions. So theory is equally important. You can go through the various case studies that the institute has provided on the website. In case you are not attending classes, you can buy "Hongren's Cost Accounting" book to work out problems. But make sure you are equally thorough with theory and their concepts.
