Revised Schedule VI

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has revised Schedule VI pertaining to the preparation of Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Account under Companies Act to harmonize and synchronize the general disclosure requirements of Schedule VI with respect to Accounting Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards and keeping in view the existing economic and regulatory environment. The Revised Schedule VI shall come into force for the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Account to be prepared for the financial year commencing on or after 1.4.2011 and is applicable for Nov. 2011 Examination.
