Do sales promotion expenses come under advertisement and TDS deduction can be made as an advertisement as per 194C....?

it depends upon what kind of sales promotion expenses..
if its in nature of some fair organised or conference organised they fall in sales promotion but not in advertisement.
advwertisement is part of sales promotion not synonym of it.
