Quick Summary
This discussion addresses a proprietor's concerns about Goods and Services Tax (GST) on online sales made via cash on delivery. The client, operating an online medicine business, has been receiving weekly remittances but hasn't paid GST despite having a GST number. The advice clarifies that operating as an e-commerce seller, especially with a GST registration, mandates GST filing and payment on outward supplies, even for cash on delivery sales. It also highlights the potential loss of input tax credit if GST isn't properly managed.

Sir , You made a cash on Delivery , it is advantage of E Commerces why They no need of paying Gst .You also lose the Input Gst .Bothe are exchanging the GST Number Give Invoice in the name of Comapany u avail the Input Credit .

Sir, you had taken you GST No. then you have to file return as well as pay tax on outward supply....
and As you are selling through E Commerce Co., you are mandatory to register under GST .
