sale bill to interstate delivery local
My client raised cement sales invoice to Karnataka... delivery is it seems to their branch in local ( Tamil Nadu )...pls clarify is this a legal movement.

your tax liability depends on buyer state not on consignee state
Noted with thanks..but is this transaction legal.. Can we delivery the goods to the local branch within the state and can we invoice under IGST to their head office in interstate...
yes , but you have to generate e-way bill if transaction value is more than 50000
