Dear experts,
A person is a Director in a Company and also works as an employee in its subsidiary Company for which he receives salary from the Subsidiary itself.
My query is- whether he can receive the salary from subsidiary or not? If any provision of Companies Act hits by doing this?

I think he can receive salary from the subsidiary company provided he is not an independent director in the holding co.
