Salary structure for unstructured oraganisation

I am working with Archietect Firm.

The firm gives me salary 21800/- per month. after cutting professional Tax.

Company do not provide any salary slip or salary breaking. Due to which I am feeling 21800x12 will be my direct income. Also company is not cutting any TDS. 

I would like to know still can i get benefit for HRA or Travelling and Medical Allowance benefit ?

  1. You can claim deduction u/s 80GG (limit is lower) even if you don't receive HRA. Refer: https://www.charteredclub.com/section-80gg/. But you cannot claim exemption u/s 10(13A) in case you do not receive HRA.
  2. Transport allowance can be claimed upto Rs.1600 pm only when you actually receive the same
  3. Medical allowance will be taxable but medical reimbursement up to Rs.15000 pa is exempt from tax, provided you submit bills to your employer.
  4. In any case, if you claim deduction u/s 80GG (of Rs.24,000), then there will not be any tax liability considering the information that you have given.
