Hi

My father is a gov.employee.he submitted his total income in his department in feb 2011 as gross income is 395046.00

upon which he claimed 120000.00 as various deduction (80C+80CCF).and find TDS certificate from his department today i try to check TDS amount from online from site but there were no TDS amount shown in his account.

Tell me how i can see deducted amount of TDS on salary online.

and

In total income Rs 51135.00 as arrear of Apr 08 to Nov 10 included but not received till date and no hope to receive in this year.so if i am not taken this amount then refund generated from his return on such amount.but in Form 16 his department consider

Gross Income 395046.00

HRA allowance.11040.00

Deduction-120000.00

and TDS deducted 10713.00

so if i want to claim refund then on the basis of these form 16 can i claim.

if claim then in return what gross amount i should shown either 395046 or 395046-51135.

 

3-what process should i follow if i want to claim online refund.

follow the form 16 strictly, 

mere saying that arrears not received in the year, does not allow you to reduce the liability, 

as a govt employee his account has been credited ( not paid though) but he will get the amount sooner or later. then this income would not be subject to tax further.

below 5 lacs, i guess he is not entitled to file return by self.
