I agree that candidate with rank is preferred in an interview but its the knowledge one acquires about the subject matters when it comes to a professional qualification. A person with multi attempts with immense knowledge on the subject earns more than wat a rank holder earns.

If you talking about fresh CA's, then the rank holder has a much much better chance of landing a better job. COmpanies actually pay to get the rank holder list as soon as the results are out.
