if salary received by MLA and MP is taxble under which head if taxble y ??

Salaries received by MLA and MP are exempt. However any recieved are taxable as Salary Income.

Any allowance received are taxable as Salary Income. However Basic Salary is exempt.

Salaries to MPs and MLAs taxable under Income from Other Sources, as there is no employee-relationship between government and MPs and MLAs
