Hi

One of my client who has worked in China for 3 months during 2010-11. Can any one let me know, how to show the income and the tax deducted in that country (using DTAA) while filing ITR4 - His residential status is resident, so need to tax the foreign income as well and take credit for the tax paid in that country.

Thanks

Sivakumar.K

If the condition for residential status is fulfiled than he will be treated as resident of India.

As per the DTAA income should be taxed once only and in case of deference in tax rate only the extra rate is charged next time.
