Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies home loan tax deductions. You can claim up to Rs. 75,000 for interest paid under Section 24(b), limited to the actual amount paid if less than the Rs. 2 lakh threshold. Additionally, the principal amount repaid can be claimed under Section 80C, up to a maximum of Rs. 1.5 lakh. The eligibility of pre-construction interest and processing fees is also raised.

Hi,.
You are eligible to claim Rs. 75000 only, that 200000 is the threshold limit above which you can't claim any interest even if you have paid more than 200000 under house property
The max limit for claiming interest on home loan u/s 24b is 2 lakhs. But here you have paid only 75000 and you are eligible to claim only what you have paid. So you should claim only 75000 u/s 24b
Hi,

You can claim interest u/s 24b of Rs. 75,000
( interest amount or 2,00,000 whichever is lower)

You can also claim principal amount paid for home loan u/s 80C subject to maximum of Rs. 1,50,000
