if Gross Salary of any women employee is RS.14000/- but end of the month she received net RS. 9500/- then

1. Professional Tax is Applicable

2. Cash give her salary in cash

1. no professional tax as employer employee relation exist.. nd no point of professional..
2. yes cash payment of salary upto ₹10000 is possible...

but my query is if gross salary is 14000 k and net 10000 then

cash payment possibility

and professional tax applicable

Professional tax being levied by the State Government, is different in different states. Firstly, your query doesn’t indicate that. To my mind you want to know which salary (Gross or in-hand) to be considered while applying the slab.. If yes, then answer is:: As Professional tax is always state specific and the definition of salary or wages may vary from state to state. But on a general basis it is on Gross salary (i.e ₹14,000 in your case). Hope it’s helpful.
