Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies tax filing for individuals earning salaries from two employers alongside professional income. While ITR 3 is generally suitable due to professional income, the standard deduction is a one-time claim per individual, not per employer. Therefore, you can only claim the standard deduction once on your combined salary income.

He can use ITR 3 as he has salary from 2 employers and professional income as well. Standard deduction will be eligible only once.
File ITR 2 and standard deduction can be claimed only from one employer
Since the assessee has professional income, ITR3 has to be filed along with Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Statement.

Standard deduction is flat deduction to Individual earning salary / pension income. It is individual specific and no per employer. Hence would be deducted only once on combined total income from salary of both employers.
Yes I think ITR 3 can also be filed
