Quick Summary
This discussion addresses whether an individual can claim tax relief on salary arrears received for past years when they haven't filed their tax returns for those periods. While the standard Form 10E might not be accepted retrospectively, the advice suggests filing the Income Tax Return (ITR) along with Form 10E for the relevant years. It's noted that tax departments may be less likely to consider claims if the ITR wasn't filed initially, but it's worth trying this approach.

No. Now Form 10E will not be considered.

What if i did not have taxable income for the last 2 years??

Now-a-days department do not consider the the claim when ITR was not filed. You may try it. File ITR with the claim along with form 10E; let us see if it is considered.
