my mother is a teacher in a government school.does she needs to give a rent agreement for tax rebate in HRA??or is rent receipts enough to avail the rebate?

Ya, agreement should have been entered to claim the exemption u/s. 10(13A) for hra. And it is also to be cared that again the benefit of the same rent is not taken u/s. 80GG As deduction for rent paid.
