Did you ever feel angry while going on bad roads, seeing problems in your city etc. Many times you might be disappointed with government/muncipal/police etc policies and their work.

You can really change the system by using your power in hand i.e RIGHT TO INFORMATION.

Section 2(j) of  RTI ACT, 2005 provides- Citizens Right to Information.

Section 2(f) of RTI ACT, 2005 describe meaning of Information.

Ask any question regarding RTI application/ What information can obtained, I will try to answer......

Hi Manish,

Thanks for the details on RTI.

Recently from our company, we applied to EPF office (in Trichy, Tamil nadu) for certain waiver. This waiver request was rejected without giving adequte reasons. Now I would like to apply thru RTI seeking the information / grounds for the rejctetion.

Please let us know if the above discussed format holds good.

Is the RTI fee is Rs 10 for all cases. (say Income Tax, EPF, ESI ect)

If I pay cash where should I pay? or if I take a DD, in whose favour should I take a DD?

Will a bank issue a DD for just Rs 10 (since the amount is small)?

Please clarify.

Thanks and Regards

Muthu

If we use this power we can really pressurised the govt official to do right work at time.
