RPLI insurance for dependent parents

I have paid the RPLI premium for my parents. How can I file the premium amount at the time of return filling?

RPLI policy is under my parents name. Can I file it under 80C? Looking for your help.

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies how to claim tax deductions for Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) premiums paid for dependent parents. While the policy is in your parents' names, you can claim the deduction under Section 80C of the Income Tax Act. You do not need to upload the policy document; simply enter the premium amount in the relevant section of your Income Tax Return (ITR) form.

Yes you claim deduction

Thanks for your time sourav. Do we need to upload the insurance policy document alone? is that okay?

No just mention the amount of premium in ITR
Not required to upload any documents
just mention the amount of premium paid in respective column in itr form
