Form 18 is for change in situation of the registered office. The query asked is about informing the ROC of an additional office. So i think it will be Form 49. Please confirm

you are right fatema, but in form 49 also it is mentioned that this form can be used for 

Return of alteration in the charter, statute or memorandum and articles of association, address of the registered or principal office and directors and secretary of a foreign company

i think form 49 is also for registered office or principal office, not for additional office....

please clarify

49-Return of alteration in the charter, statute or memorandum and articles of association, address of the registered or principal office and directors and secretary of a foreign company

52-Notice of (A) alteration in names and addresses of persons resident in India authorized to accept service on behalf of a foreign company (B) alteration in the address of principal place of business in India of a foreign company (C) list of places of business established by a foreign company (D) cessation to have a place of business in India

I suppose that these both forms are for foreign companies.

Further if ur Company is a simple private company  then there is no need to specifcy any sort of place of business to ROC.U can just place a boardresolution for being on a safe side.

However other views are solicited.
