Revocation of cancellation of registration reg

Dear Sir,

1. With reference to the subject,
the registration of a person is canceled suo-motu by the proper officer.

2. The registered person wishes to apply for revocation of the same to proper officer.

3. He has to apply within 30 days
(a). from the DATE OF ORDER of cancellation of registration
or
(b). DATE OF SERVICE of the order of cancellation of registration at the GST portal.

example:
(a). Date of order of cancellation of registration is 01.08.2018.
(b). Date of service of this order of cancellation of registration is 04.08.2018.

4. My query:

Last date for apply for revocation of cancellation of registration is either 30.08.2018 or 03.09.2018 or else.

5. Kindly clarify.
