Revised schedule vi

Hi all,

I have a query relating to previous years figures. A public limited company prepared its previous year financials under existing schedule VI format for the period 01.04.2010 to 30.06.2011 i.e for 15 months. This year it is required to prepare its financials under the revised schedule VI format for the period 01.07.2011 to 31.03.2012 i.e. 9 months. My query is whether the previous years figures should be dislcosed for 9 months or 15 months???

Thanks in advance.

9 months because previous year figures are using for comparison.so, as per my knowledge 9 months is correct.

period of comparisons should be taken as per current fy period. hence 9 months should be taken , waiting for crux replies........

logically it should be 15 months........

AS per AS-25 comparative statment for 9 month should be given

My view is that co has to disclose for whole 15 months

Reason

Figures for the previous reporting period is disclosed as per heading of revised schedule vi P&l.

Figures as at the end of the previous reporting periodis disclosed as per heading of revised schedule vi Balance sheet.
