I want to know whehter we can file revised returns unver karnataka vat act after six months? since we have reported in vat-240 form to file revised returns,the tax liability is zero it is exempted goods.pls tell me under what section we can file revised returns after six months.

Get in touch with STO, with specific and valid grounds of filing revised return, they can accept it after obtaining permission from Assistant commissioner.
In case if u fail to do so, submit a letter pointing out the change in return specific in details with request to accept the same, and have acknowledgement receipt of same for submission at the time of assessment.
i have wrongly mentioned stock transfered in Interstate purchase column instead of consignment transfer/ stock transfer column...... now i need F form for the same.... department refused to give F form for the above mistake. can any body guide me how can i file revised return after 6 months...
