Revised Return for AY 2021-22

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the issue of missed deductions like Section 80C and 80TTA on the AY 2021-22 tax return, leading to potential financial loss. Participants are exploring options such as filing a revised return, rectification through the Assessing Officer (AO), or faceless appeals, though the deadline for revised returns has passed. Challenges arise when matters are with the CPC, limiting the AO's jurisdiction, and technical glitches during filing are also highlighted as a cause for concern.

It appears that no recourse is available in my case

Available if you want so

Madam,

Could you please elaborate, as earlier you have mentioned nothing can be done now.

@ Vikram ,

Try updated return u/s 139(8A). It may be possible through this return
But updated return is filed to pay taxes only & that too with penelty....& only income if any missed can be shown....here in our case....matter is to claim deduction....so can u specify how updated return will work?
@ Vikram , only suggest if I check it personally
@ Mahesh ,

If original return filed on time then then there won't be late fee for updated return.

Even I have filed ITR with 2.5Lacs without tax for past two years
If original return not verified in specified time, then also late fee leviable in revised return
Hope revised return can't be filed for AY-2021-22
Anyone can filed that
Check the Assessment Year
Here thing is for verification.
I want to know that a person file his return for 20-21 and charge depreciation in balance sheet from fixed assets but such depreciation is not shown in p/l account and sch DPM/DCG IS NOT FILLED.WHAT TO DO NOW AND HOW TO change it.bcz last date to revise return is gone now. can updated return be filled in that case.
