SIR I FILED ITR FOR AY 2016-17 WITHOUT CLAIMING HOME LOAN INTEREST. AND ROCESSED. CAN I REVISE MY RETURN WITH HOME LOAN INTEREST CLAIM?

When was the original return filed? Before due date u/s. 139(1)?

U can only revise your return if u filed the original return before the specified due date

As per section 139(5) of Income Tax Act if a person has filed a return under Section 139(1) of Income Tax Act then he can file a revised return at any time before expiry of one year from the end of relevant assessment year or before completion of the assessment whichever is earlier.

You can file a revised return at any time before expiry of one year from the end of relevant assessment year or before completion of the assessment whichever is earlier provided the original return was filed within the due date.
