Revalidation

hello, registered for IPCC under direct entry scheme on December 2014 and according to direct entry scheme have to complete 9 months of articlship before appearing in exam . So, 1 St attempt was November 2015 . and now if we want to give exam on May 2019 , will revalidation is required ? ..As per ICAI rules registration is valid for 8 attempts (4 years) and 8 the attempt will be May 2019... will revalidation is required ? or may 2019 attempt could be given as 8 the attempt ? ..
