Restore in tally

1. first take data backup of your existed company.

2. now check the existed company number (if  it is tally erp 9 then u will get 5 digit number)

3. before restoring  the 2nd company  in tally just u change the data folder 5digit number and store it in the data folder.

4. but backup- restore option is suggestable

When you get the message "Company with No. xxxxx already exist" at the time of restore the backup. Simply go to the Data folder of Tally and rename the folder number to another number not present in data folder, and try to restore again. For any query regarding Tally contact:
