resignation of auditor
In case where EGM has been held to appoint auditor who has resigned from the company , resolution to be paased to appoint new auditor would be ordinary resolution or special resolution.????????

So you are going to fill a casual vacancy in the EGM caused by the resignation of auditor. In this case you have to pass an ordinary resolution to fill the vacancy by the appointment of new auditor.
Special resolution for the appointment of auditor is required only when section 224A is applicable to the company.
