Quick Summary
This discussion concerns an individual who spent 114 days in India during FY 2023-24, with the remainder of the year spent working abroad. Their Indian income was less than 15 lakhs, and they also had foreign salary income with tax deductions. The query seeks guidance on whether this individual would be considered a resident or non-resident of India for tax purposes, with the initial advice suggesting they would be treated as an NRI (Non-Resident Indian).

He will be treated as NRI.
