An Indian Citizen who is in employment outside India comes to India for purchase of raw material for his company..Will those days be included in computing period of 182 days...Any case laws excluding those days in computation of 182 days

Obviously he will be resident indian if he follows the following conditions:
three conditions are to be satisfied...
1. previous year 182 days in India or Not
2. immediately preceding that year for a period of four pv years amounting in all to 365 days.
3.he has to be at least for 2 previous years out of 10 Previous years.
If not Not ordinarily resident...
Yes sir those days , even for job purposes, will be counted while calculating 182 days qualifying period for determining residential status for tax purposes.
