Requirements for CA Final

hey frnd,  i thnk he can register for ca final new course

n as far as i know, if he registers now, he has to register for new course only,The option of old course is not available to him. N if he goes for new course , then ultimately he has to do 3.5 yrs articleship. He can giv final attempt only after completion of 3.5yrs of articleship under the new course.

It would have been a different story if he had atleast registered for   the old course before. But now there are no 2 options.

Then 2, Please c larify with institute.

This is the reply i got from expert Kapil sir........

1. He is eligible for CA Final New Course.

2. Articleship is 3 years.

3. His attempt will be ebfore last six months of articleship. i.e. assuming he registers on 1-4-2009 then his articleship 2.5 years will be complete on 31-10-2011. Thus his exams will be in November 2011/December 2011.

SO I AM STILL CONFUSED......ANYONE ELSE...WHO KNOWS FOR SURE

i agree with shailesh's reply except pt 3... where instead of 6 months there will b 12 months..

hence if he gets registered on 1.4.09 he will eligible to appear in May 2011.....

go and ask the intstitute

old syllabus registration not available now

u will b registered under new syllabus

rest about the articleship period ask the insitute

i also agree with  megha as far as question of his exam then he can appear for exam when 12months of articleship are remain.
