if any person having head office in one state and factory in other state then whether he need in required to take gst in both the state or at the state where he had their head office?

According to the CGST Act, suppliers of taxable goods and services are required to be registered under GST in the State or Union territory, from where the taxable supply of goods or services is made. GST registration should be obtained by a taxable person under GST in each of the State or Union Territory, from where the taxable supply of goods or services is made. e.g., if a restaurant operates in the States of Punjab and Haryana, then it needs to obtain separate GSTIN for each of the two states.

you should take registration where you have factory... but you have head office where you will have to pay GST on various services... so i will suggest to register your head office as iNput Service Distributor... and normal registration for your branch
