Request to replace cwa with cma in ca club

The ICWAI got its new name as “Institute of Cost Accountant's of India” and its members are known as ACMAs and FCMAs.

Mr. Devarajan’s suggestion should be considered by the admn. team of CCI.

I agreeed with CMA. Devarjan Sir. ... CWA word is no longer in use. Better to recognise this profession according to the respective act. Cost Accountants are now CMAs. And the course name may also be used as CMA only. Yes for recognition purpose  admin can put " previously CWA/ICWA " after "CMA" word everywhere..So that aam aadmi can know what exactly "CMA" means. because they may not be aware of our professions and ammendments thereof. But slowly it should be converted into CMA not CWA.

CWA is now merely cost Accountants.

They should be truly recognised by their real name cost Accountant.

Hence The Institute of Cost Accountants of India may be refferd as ICOAI or ICAI cost or ICAI k

CA is known by ICAI Delhi or ICAI D.

But CWA should be known by CO ,which means cost Accountants

May I request stalwarts of this Portal who immensely contribute constructively, like CMA Krishnan and CMA Sanjay Gupta to please write to the adminstrators of the portal to do the needful.
