Reply letter for intimation under section 245
Hi All, I want to sent a letter to IT tax office regarding the intimation received under Section 245. Its regarding to my DEMAND arrears. So I should address it to Assessment Officer or Income Tax Officer. Also, will IT Office accept postal letter sent thru Registered Post. Please advice. Thank you in advance.

Yes, you can reply by Speed post or Reg AD, but send it to IT officer, as per your (PAN) jurisdiction.
