Rent Cheque
We have a proprietary firm with no business activity since last 5 years but in its name there is a property and we want to rent out that property. If we take rent cheque in the name of Properietor will there be any problem.

There won't be any issues. However it will get to taxable income of proprietor
Then propritor must have to show it under the head Income from house property while filing ITR.
