Renovation expenses on a rented building

               Dear friends,

                                         A Company has taken a building on rent. The building is owned by the director of the company.The company has incurred renovation expenses. Whether the Company can treat it as revenue expenditure or capital expenditure.

Sir,

I think it is a capital expenditure, you have to account total expenses equally in total number of years of lease , because the said expenses is not for the same year revenue .

At the end amount of expenditure also important.
