Dear Friends,
A Government employee got reimbursement against Medical Expenditure from Government ( against Government Health scheme ) and another reimbursement in the same f.y. ( 19-20) from Private Health Insurance. Are both this two receipts Tax Free ? Please guide. Thanks.

Exemption upto ₹15000 available if reflected in Form 16/12BA. You will have to submit medical bills to the employer and ask them to reflect the same in form 12BA. Employer will file form 12BB
