We have a Sports Association. We have recently on 28.03.2014 applied for the registration u/s. 12 A in Form 10A.
Now we have received letter from Asst. Comm. of IT where in he has raised 9 questions. Out of 9 following are the two questions for which we expect solution from you.
a. Whether the application in Form No. 10A is filled within the due date (i.e within one year from the date of formation). In case of delay whether the applicant has filled request letter for condonation of delay ?
Facts - Our association formed and registered on 04.12.2012 under Societies Act. However we filled the application for 12A with IT on 28.03.2014. New executive committee formed in March 2013 last year . Income tax retur filled on 02.03.2014 of the F.Y 2012-13 (Loss).
b. Whether the trust has filed form 10B as specified in rule 17B of IT rules, 1962 ?
We have filed IT return but not Report FORM 10B.
